Sorry I’ve been a little quite as late.
In hibernation writing new tunes for you all to here!
Much love x
On Sunday I played my very first ticketed headline show, and (breathes in)…
…the night was a great turn out! (Big sigh of relief out).
I suddenly got very nervous at the prospect of putting on my own show; it felt like throwing a party and worrying whether you’ll have the right food, drinks, music etc – but more importantly… if anyone will turn up!
So, it was a huge relief to see all my friends, family and people I’d never seen before, pour through the doors at 8pm.
I had a wonderful support act, Joshua Wilde, who I’d come across via playing gigs over the summer at Café Irie. He performed a beautiful set - and surprised us all by saying he’s only been giging for 4 months and that it was his first gig outside of Cornwall – no one would have guessed! You can hear his music here.
I’m so glad the evening went to plan, and a very big thank you to the people that came, told other people about the event and to the people that also bought an EP. (I’ll be doing another blog post shortly about my All The Boyfriends EP, as something pretty cool has happened!)
Also, last but not least thank you to The Barrel House for having me. For many, many years I’ve been coming to The Barrel House, so I’m very familiar with the venue, but it’s recently had a makeover and is looking more fabulous than ever!
Thanks BH! X
Last Friday I performed at an event held by the clothing company Free People and it was a lovely evening.
It was perfect.
I also had a small interview after my set, which you can read here on their blog.
